What personal information Yucti collects, why, who else handles it, how long we keep it, and how to ask us to see, correct or delete it. It covers this website, the messages you send us and the free visibility check.
The short version
- This website sets no cookies, and nothing you type on it is sent to us. When you contact us, the message goes from your own email or WhatsApp, and you see every word first.
- We count visits without identifying you.
- We use what you send us only to reply and to do the work you asked about. We don’t sell it, and we don’t add you to a mailing list.
- Ask Satish Pophale at hello@yucti.com to see, correct or delete what we hold about you.
When you visit this website
No cookies. The site keeps three small settings in your own browser: the theme you chose, whether you’ve paused motion, and whether the logo animation has already played on this visit. They never leave your browser, and clearing your browser’s data for this site removes them.
Counting visits. We use Vercel Web Analytics to see which pages are read. For each page view it records the time, the page, the site you came from, your approximate location (country, region and city), and your device type, operating system and browser. It sets no cookies. Visits are told apart by a code made from your connection, which is discarded after 24 hours, so we can’t identify you or follow you to other sites.
When you send a message from the Contact page, we also count which topic you chose and how you sent it: your email app, Gmail, WhatsApp or a copy. We never record your name, your details or your message.
Hosting. The site is hosted by Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel receives the technical details your browser sends, such as your IP address, to deliver the pages and protect the site from abuse.
When you contact us
The Contact page doesn’t send anything itself. It helps you write a message, then opens your email app, Gmail or WhatsApp, or copies the text for you. Nothing you type is stored by this website.
When you send it, we receive what you chose to include: usually your name, your business, where it is, how to reach you and what you’d like to talk about. If you send it through Gmail or WhatsApp, Google or Meta also handle it, under their own privacy policies.
We use it to reply, to arrange a visibility check or a conversation, and to keep a record of what we discussed.
The free visibility check
During a check we look, with you, at what a customer can see: your Google profile, your listings, your website, and how you appear in search and AI answers. We write down what we find, the answers you choose to give us (for example, what you pay for listings today) and how to reach you.
- The 10 pm WhatsApp test happens only if you agree. We send one enquiry to your business number, note when it was answered, and then tell you it was a test.
- We never ask for your passwords. We may ask who manages your domain or Google profile, but never for the login.
- We don’t copy your customers’ details or photograph your chats.
We use the notes to write your report and to follow up with you. Combined with other checks, and never with your name, they also help us understand what local businesses need.
Who else handles it
Only the services that make the above work:
- Vercel hosts this website and counts visits.
- Namecheap holds our domain and forwards email sent to hello@yucti.com to our mailbox, where our email provider stores it.
- Meta handles the messages you send us on WhatsApp.
We don’t sell personal information or share it for anyone else’s advertising. We disclose it only if the law requires us to.
How long we keep it
- Messages that don’t lead to work: 12 months after the last message, then deleted.
- Visibility-check notes: 24 months after the check. Then we delete them, or keep only figures with no name or contact details.
- Clients’ records: while we work together, and afterwards for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
- Visit counts: kept by Vercel as statistics that can’t identify you.
Keeping it safe
What you send us stays in our own email and WhatsApp accounts. Only the people at Yucti working on your enquiry can see it.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you, and who we’ve shared it with.
- Correct, complete or update it.
- Delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it.
- Accept requests from someone you name to act for you, if you can’t.
Write to Satish Pophale at hello@yucti.com, or send a WhatsApp message to +91 89283 40800. We’ll answer within 30 days.
Once the rights in the Digital Personal Data Protection Act take effect on 13 May 2027, you can also complain to the Data Protection Board of India if you’re not satisfied with our answer.
Children
This site is for businesses and the people who run them. It isn’t meant for children, and we don’t knowingly collect children’s information.
